The venue and history of Norrviken

Norrviken Gardens is a magnificent garden located just northwest of Båstad. The park was founded in 1906 by the garden pioneer Rudolf Abelin. Inspired by various countries and eras, Abelin created a unique park with several period gardens, including Baroque, Renaissance, and Japanese gardens.

Norrviken Gardens spans an impressive 14 hectares and, in addition to the gardens, includes Villa Abelin, which houses conference rooms, two suites, Orangeriet restaurant, and Salamander Café & Bar. The park also features two magnificent glasshouses, the Victoria House and Erik’s House. The large area, combined with versatile facilities and a stunning environment, makes it optimal for large events such as the Aurora.
