In Villa Abelin, once the home of Rudolf Abel, you’ll find both Orangeriet restaurant and Salamander Café & bar. Orangeriet, with its generous glass panels, blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, offering a seasonal à la carte menu where each dish is carefully selected to reflect the character of the place. On the Italian terrace, you can enjoy your meal with a view of the Japanese Garden. At Salamander Café & Bar, fresh baked goods and carefully chosen treats await, providing the perfect break in the garden’s greenery.
Beyond the park, the culinary journey continues. RAVINEN Culture Center offers well-prepared dishes in its bistro, where proud food artisans create meals with care and creativity, inspired by seasonal ingredients. At Chocolaterian, chocolate takes center stage – here, you’ll find delicate pralines, freshly baked goods, and lighter lunches in a relaxed atmosphere.

Orangeriet restaurant
Let Orangeriet take you on a culinary journey through the Bjäre Peninsula’s larder, the garden, and the surrounding nature. Our food philosophy, from farm to table, is based on conscious choices, with many ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers. Watercress, wild garlic, Spanish chervil, and other herbs are picked from Norrviken’s forests and kitchen garden, honey from our friends in the beehive, and fruit from Norrviken’s own orchards. A food adventure with local and homegrown flavors in our magnificent Orangeriet, where the boundary between indoors and outdoors is blurred.
