First it was a song named “Änglahund” (Angel Buddy) that made Hasse Andersson a great favourite among Swedish people in the 80s. 30 years later he became the star of the Swedish Song Contest and made all of Sweden sing along in “Guld och gröna skogar” literally “Gold and Green Forests”. Especially all children.
Next success was a TV series – Hasse’s Garden, where Hasse Andersson grew vegetables and sang together with children.
In the summer of 2018 Hasse Andersson was invited to build his own show garden at Solliden Palace, and his amusing garden was awarded the Visitors’ Prize by the king himself. The garden turned out so well that Hasse Andersson decided to take it with him to his beloved Bjärehalvön. And what could be better than having his own happy and playful garden at Norrviken?
Most plants grown in Hasse’s Happy Garden are edible; vegetables, berries and fruits. When going on a treasure hunt among the bushes, trees and nice cultivation boxes the children can learn how to cultivate and harvest. The beauty of a dry little seed hiding a plant within that really wants to start growing. This is a listen and learn playground for eager little gardeners.
In Hasse’s Happy Garden you will find the Guitar Tree, the Blue Brook and the ”Clipple”. There is also a Run Along Path, Keep Your Balance Road and Cosy Little House. And you can take a look at the beehives or stop by at the little henhouse. Hasse Andersson himself appears every now and then. If you want to you can also check out Hasse’s Happy Garden on Youtube.
