Flower mandala floating in the air
This summer in the Baroque Garden you will come across Hanna Wendelbo-Hansson’s flower mandala floating in the air.
Join one of our guided tours. Let us dive into garden history, flowers and this year’s theme romanticism.
The whole garden is a fairytale world with magic trees and exciting paths. A perfect destination for children.
Together with singer songwriter Hasse Andersson we have created a childishly amusing and colourful garden, especially for our youngest visitors – an invitation to play, spark their interest and discover the wonders of growing plants. But the entire park is a place to discover for children, with magic trees and hidden paths among high rhododendrons. The whole family can play boules in our new boules court, just outside the main entrance.
Norrviken Day, Christmas at Norrviken and Medieval Day are popular events.
Norrviken is a unique venue. Concerts, exhibitions, fairs and a lot of other events are arranged here. Norrviken Day, Christmas at Norrviken and Medieval Day attract all ages. The Handicraft Fair is one of the biggest in Scandinavia.
We invite you to dance for two days during “Dancing at Norrviken”. The music will change character at our concerts – this year with Hasse Andersson among others.
Victoriahuset and its glass pavilions accommodate exciting exhibitors such as Elsa Billgren, Agneta & Carolina Gynning and Lisa Abelsson, whose sculptures can be seen in the garden too.
Villa Abelin features several different exhibitions in the summer: Björn Persson whose fantastic photographs have managed to draw attention to endangered animals in Africa; Fernand Fonssagrives, one of the first practitioners of what is now known as Beauty Photography.
Knowledge makes us grow. This year we will invite you to workshops, lectures and courses, inspired by our gardens. We will be visited by Sara Bäckmo, Cecilia Wingård, Gunnel Karlsson, Annika Christensen and Lisen Sundgren.
