Discover the New Season at Norrviken
The season invites visitors to experience a Norrviken where the power of nature, presence, and restoration take centre stage. Here, the garden becomes a place for reflection, experiences, and moments that awaken the senses. Among the season’s highlights are the internationally acclaimed artist Kim Simonsson’s fairytale-like Moss People. Two of the moss-covered figures appear in the forest along Abelin’s path, moving in the borderland between story and nature – as if they have always belonged there.
At the same time, Norrviken continues to develop as a meeting place where nature, art, and design interact. In Erikshus, The Garden for the Senses opens – a calm yet inspiring environment for reflection and restoration. At the start of the season, the Villa presents the photography exhibition Seasons by Bjäre-based photographer Louise Dock, reflecting Norrviken’s changing character throughout the year.
On 1 June, Henrik Wahlström’s exhibition Ups and Downs opens, where art and nature together offer perspective on life’s contrasts. The season also includes concerts in Norrviken Sessions, the international lifestyle event The Aurora, culinary encounters during Skåne Food Fest, and many other events and experiences.
Together, these elements create a Norrviken where stillness and experiences, playfulness and reflection, art and landscape exist side by side – and where every visit can become a moment of both inspiration and wellbeing.
Weddings All Year Round
Norrviken Gardens is a place where love and nature come together in a fairytale setting. Here, among lush garden rooms and blooming pathways, weddings filled with magic and timeless beauty are created. With the sea on the horizon and the greenery of the period gardens as a backdrop, you can celebrate your entire special day in one place – from the ceremony and wedding reception to the party that lasts long into the night.
It’s no coincidence that Norrviken is one of Sweden’s most sought-after wedding venues. Here, nature becomes part of the celebration, the changing seasons give each day its unique touch, and every wedding becomes a story in itself – a story that begins here, but lives on forever.
Experience of the Year by Hylla Skåne
We are proud and honoured to have been named Experience of the Year by Hylla Skåne – Visit Skåne’s annual celebration of the region’s tourism and events industry.
In the jury’s motivation, our work to create a vibrant destination is highlighted – a place where garden knowledge, historical storytelling, and aesthetic experiences come together, and where nature, culture, and gastronomy meet in a year-round experience.
The award Experience of the Year recognises organisations that develop visitor experiences in innovative and sustainable ways while strengthening the attractiveness of their destination. Receiving this award is a meaningful acknowledgment of our long-term work and our commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests.
We share this recognition with all the guests, colleagues, and partners who are part of Norrviken’s journey.
